Stella Ho started to learn dancing at the age of six, and was trained in the basic techniques of classical Chinese dance and Chinese folk dance at the Cloud Dragon Dance Company of Macau, the Student Dance Troupe of Macao Education and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Macao Conservatory Dance School respectively. She has been trained as an instructor for Chinese Dance Graded Examination since 1995, and has obtained the certificates for teaching grade 1 to 13 issued by Beijing Dance Academy Graded Examination Committee. She finished the 3-year choreography course provided by the Macao Conservatory Dance School in 2004.
